Scott Putnam and Terry Freeze left a successful software sales business and opened, grew and profitably sold their small-dollar lending company before combining their interests into the founding of a new loan management software company. Because of their deep operational experience in lending and customer-focused orientation, they knew that a complete financial management software solution for lending institutions was needed.
Their company, originally named eSoftware Solutions, was born in 2005 when the two partners put together a talented team of software developers and financial services professionals to deliver a superior software product for lenders. In 2018, the company was rebranded as Vergent Loan Management Software – and their core product as Vergent – to reflect the company’s exclusive focus on lending software. Also in 2018, Vergent opened a second office, in Dallas, to add additional talent and resources that will allow the company to grow while maintaining a proactive and responsive approach to serving customer needs.
